Apple is way ahead in setting the example of a tech giant going green. NBC's Today show highlighted Apple's incredible data center as an example of what corporations should be doing in using renewable energy resources in a blurb on April 24, 2014. While Yahoo, Google and Microsoft have made some advances in green technology, Apple has led the way others should follow. Apple Insider says, "Google, Facebook and Yahoo use clean energy at their respective data centers, only Apple's is using 100 percent renewable power."
