Gmail is now included in Share Sheets with your iOS8 device. This is how it works:
Sharing a photo in your camera, a link to a web site, an article or whatever you want to share something from your iOS device running iOS8 you can look for the Share icon which allows you to share using email or favorite social media app. Now Gmail is included in the list. How can you get Gmail as one of the choices?
Let’s say you are using Safari and you want to share a link to a web site with your friend by emailing through your Gmail account. Look for the share icon that is circled in red below:
If you are using Chrome you need to look for the three dots in the top right corner and click on it to see the share icon below circled in red:
Be sure to have your Gmail ON for sharing as indicated below:
Finally, all you need to do is chose Gmail as your choice of sharing sheets which opens the app and you simply enter the email address of your friend and Send!
