Google Apps for Work has released a new Chrome extension that allows new users the ability to watch training videos using the core services: Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Hangouts, and Tasks. Originally called Synergyse, Google has taken over this service and called it Google Apps for Work Training which is available in Japanese, German, Chinese, English, French, and more. If your company has switched to Google Apps for Work this will assist all your employees to learn how to use the core services better in a user friendly manner. Studies have shown that the companies using the Synergyse Google Apps for Work Training service have an average of 35 percent higher adoption across Apps products.
So how does this work?
(1) Simply each Google Apps for Work [GaW] user will first need to download the Chrome browser since this only works with Chrome.
(2) Second, after downloading Chrome, you will need to install the Google Apps for Work Training Extension.
(3) Once installed, when you login to your Gmail inbox you will see the Google Apps for Work Training logo in the top right corner (rainbow circle with a Question mark in the center) which looks like this after you click on the logo:
This allows you to access a number of training videos for Google Apps for Work cores services.
